LCM stands for Life Cycle Management
For 90 years, Zalkin has been designing and manufacturing equipment relating to the application of caps to all variety of rigid containers. This represents more than 13,000 machines present on all continents. Some of these machines have been in continuous operation since the 60s, and when you visit sites, it is not uncommon to find machines still in operation that were installed well over 40 years ago.
Zalkin, your reliable partner for a maximized performance.
The longevity of our machines is made possible by the robustness of design and manufacture along with the ongoing efforts in adapting to the changing requirements of customers. This is what we at Zalkin strive to do routinely.
Specifically, this means continuing to supply parts even for the oldest machines still in operation, recommending equipment conversions, modifications or upgrades to accommodate a new cap or handling of new bottle formats, and responding quickly to concerns, issues or requests for assistance.
Zalkin LCM means support for the machine and our customers throughout the life of their Zalkin machine. Upon installation of a Zalkin machine, all the machines relevant information is loaded into our database for easy reference by our LCM team. At any time while on a call with a customer, Zalkin is able to access that information to offer spare parts, send a technician to the customer’s site or suggest new equipment to enhance machine performance.
Three efficient departments for an optimal service.
The Zalkin LCM team is organized into 3 groups, fully aligned with customer requirements: Spare Parts, Conversions & Upgrades, and Technical Support & Service.
Zalkin has an extensive inventory of Spare Parts which can be shipped in most cases the same day to anywhere in the world. If a part is not available, Zalkin will start the production process to manufacture.
Conversions and Upgrades ensure that a Zalkin capper is properly equipped to accommodate all the proper cap and or bottle handling equipment to run a new cap size or style or handle new bottle sizes or types. Upgrades can assist with incorporating the latest technology into a capping system.
Service and Technical Support handle everything from customer emergency assistance, routine maintenance, machine installation and customized training programs. Zalkin technicians travel worldwide to wherever a Zalkin capper is installed.
